Day Centre
Our Day Centre offers a welcoming, inclusive space for people aged 60+ who may be facing loneliness, isolation or health challenges. Individuals attend on regular, pre-arranged day of the week - rather than a drop-in basis - creating a consistent routine and a familiar group setting where meaningful connections and trust can grow

Activities
Our dedicated staff work hard to continuously plan engaging experiences at the day centre, including baking, arts and crafts, seasonal/topical activities, brain games, pampering, and opportunities to stay gently active each day. We also incorporate down-time, for our attendees to simply rest, read, have a blether or 40 winks if needed!
Outings & Entertainment
Our day service provision includes a variety of exciting outings and entertainers throughout the year. Successful events have included a barge trip, visiting the museum, a visit from Therapy Ponies, monthly live music from our regular musicians David Hood, Debbie McConnell, Sarah Laing and intergenerational experiences as we understand the importance of keeping our elderly connected with our youngest community members.

Also good to know
We have capacity to accommodate a maximum of 13 users per day.
We prioritise developing genuine, lasting relationships with the loved ones of our users.
If a client does not answer the door, we act promptly and appropriately, contacting family members or emergency contacts. We will keep in touch during longer absences to ensure the continued wellbeing of those we support, easing the return to us.
We celebrate each user's birthday as a group to further increase their individual sense of belonging and connection to others.
We take a person-centred approach to our service. We tailor each service user's needs and wishes, approaching these with respect, dignity and always without judgement, when planning their experience with us. Every service user has a voice and we listen.
